This is the last poppy of the season. It seems to have more blooms each year and is easily one of the favorites in the garden. Not only are they beautiful, but they're larger than most varieties because the blooms are the size of a hand and are between three and four feet tall.
It's been some time since my last post and I have a few updated photos to share with you. Aren't they cute? One day soon, they're going to look just like their Mama. All four of them are growing fast and starting to resemble robins.
This is the second year my birds have come back to the same nest! I took photos of them last year and peeked last week but the nest was empty. Two days ago, I saw a bird hanging out near the same tree. I looked today and there are three pretty eggs in there!
Today was my slowest Monday ever! I stayed in bed for a little while before getting up to open the curtains and walk the two pugs who are usually tossed about above and below the comforter somewhere. It is super sunny and 70 degrees today and there is plenty to do: cleaning the house, heading to the post office to ship this weekend's orders and of course stopping to find some new fiber for custom...
